I suggest that counselors actually counsel. With the psychological and counseling theoretical and practical applications provided in and engaged in graduate studies, counselors should be allowed to develop programs in which individual and group counseling are provided for the student. I suggest that counselors actually counsel. With the psychological and counseling theoretical and practical applications provided in and engaged in graduate studies, counselors should be allowed to develop programs in which individual and group counseling are provided for the student. The concepts and activities of counseling (theoretical approach) and advising (non-theoretical approach) should be delineated for and communicated to the student and public communities. Counselors and faculty advisors should be mandated to work together in new student orientations and career day events on and off campus.
