counselors are critical within the college setting

with the increasing mental health needs that students have today it is critical that colleges assist in the management of student needs by increasing the numbers of counselors available to assist with student needs. As the student volitility increases the need for counselors is even more critical.

    As a society we don't handle mental illness well. Unemployment rate is around 70%. Employers don't deal with it well especially given the rife workplace bullying. It's bad everywhere if you have a mental illness - not just schools. Check out nkm2.org.
